Get USDh
Everything happens from your own wallet. There is no account to open. Your USDh sits in your wallet, not with anyone else.
Before you start#
- A self-custodial Ethereum wallet, such as MetaMask.
- Some USDC to swap, and a little ETH to pay network fees.
- You are not in a restricted country. See who can use USDh.
USDh runs on Ethereum today.
Steps#
- 1Open the app. Go to app.usdh.money and press Connect wallet. Approve it in your wallet. The app can see your balances and suggest transactions. It can never move anything without your signature.
- 2Swap for USDh. Open Swap. Under Sell, pick USDC and an amount. Under Buy, the app shows how much USDh you get before you confirm.
- 3Confirm. The first time, your wallet asks you to approve USDC. Then press Swap and confirm. USDh arrives in the same transaction.
- 4See it. Open Portfolio to see your USDh. If your wallet does not show it, add the token using the address on Contracts.
Leaving#
Swap USDh back to USDC in the same screen, or send it to any Ethereum address. It is a standard token.
Redeeming with the issuer directly, 1:1, is for businesses that have signed up as Mint Users. Everyone else leaves by swapping, at the market price at that moment, or through an approved route, such as an aggregator the issuer has approved, which redeems 1 USDh for 1 AUSD.
